@unbearablyindifferent | liked Michael’s call
Watching her from the back of his truck, Michael felt a smirk already creeping up the corners of his mouth. There was something about the way she moved that had caught his attention. She seemed to be annoyed about something though, a thunderous expression crossing her face and the cowboy cocked an eyebrow at that. He found himself wondering what was going on with her, something he usually didn’t care too much about when it concerned strangers. It was kinda weird and his first instinct was to get in his truck, to drive away and leave her image in his rearview mirror. He didn’t though. Because at that exact moment, she turned towards him and headed his way.
Michael didn’t know whether she had noticed his staring or not, but he was going to downplay it best he could. Only, she wasn’t really paying attention to him and seemed to be heading off to some spot just past him. Maybe she hadn’t noticed him, after all? He didn’t like that thought much either.
When she nearly passed without even a glance at him, he decided he actually wanted to talk to her. And so he pulled a can of beer free from his six pack and held it out to her by the time she passed his truck. “Beer? You look like you could use one.”
