“Hey there.” he said spinning her around once before pulling her flush against his body, keeping her in the air.

“You really should pay more attention to your surroundings. That’s how cute girls like you get abducted don’t you know that?” He shifted her weight so that she was sitting on his forearms, knowing that the stability would help her feel more comfortable in his arms. “But all that aside, How’s my girl this evening? How was work?”

Owen smirked to himself as he pulled his bike up outside Lowery’s apartment complex. There were only two on park grounds, and Lowery’s wasn’t too far from the control center. Owen glanced at his watch as he swung off of his bike. Eight o’clock precisely. He was nothing if not punctual, and he was very proud of that fact.

He didn’t bother to call the elevator, choosing instead to take the stairs to the third floor, and quickly found the man’s room. He knocked three times and stepped back, looking down at himself. White long sleeved Henley, leather jacket, and black jeans with his nice boots. He figured he didn’t look half bad for their first date. 

When he heard the door opening, he shoved his hands in his jeans pockets to keep from fidgeting. He’d never been on an actual date with a guy before. Only with women, so to say he was a bit nervous was an understatement.
