You ever gonna get back into your Voltron rewrite? I loved it

i want to continue my rewrite so bad but i'm just hsdjkgnhbefwd unfortunately trapped in a prison of my own making.

my progress has really stalled because i hate the way i've structured my rewrite/fic. i really don't like the pacing in my first few chapters, and i'm torn about whether i want to only do one character's pov per chapter or if i should switch perspective every few scenes......... i haven't written fic in literally forever idk what i'm doinggggg

also i'm incredibly indecisive about what canon plot points i want to keep vs what to change, and then i keep revising my changes because i SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Katie’s rewrite doesn’t change Lance’s most important arc: becoming Amish. It’s so important that Amish people see themselves represented positively in media.

So this one is the first of a few of these character design sheets based on @/klanced’s Voltron: Legendary Rewrite and the post she made on the description’s she listed for the rewrite. As their rewrite got me through the my final years at sixth form and seeing it has aligned with me finally getting back into Voltron cause of the blorbo polls (Thanks a lot blorbo polls) I’ve decided to do all the characters they wrote stuff for.

I’m gonna be going in the order that the initial post about their design went so Lance, and up next is Hunk, then Pidge, Keith, Shiro, Allura and then Coran

It was very difficult to not out of habit end up drawing the atrocity that was his original hair style though I think in future drawings I’m gonna try to make his hair a little more textured/curlier than I did it here

i tried out some hairstyles and changing rhe format with this one i might do a piece later with some just outfit designs for most of characters at some point

FINALLY GOT ANOTHER PART OF THIS OUT!!! This is Shiro from @klanced ‘s Voltron: Legendary Rewrite. i really struggled with picking quotes for Shiro cause there were so many that were great so I’m limited and I think maybe I should’ve done the grown out hair a little longer as it’s a year of growth and having gone from a shaven head to a year of growth, it’s a fair bit longer than that usually.

This is Part 3 of the character designs for @/klanced's Voltron: Legendary Rewrite, Pidge!

So Pidge being a transfemme character, I thought maybe beginning to see her hair grow a little more could be good cause I think seeing all the characters evolve a little each season would be good anyway but particularly for pidge to begin to establish the difference between Pidge as a secret identity, to Kathryn/Katie Holt to Pidge/Katie as she comes into her own about her identity

As I didn't have many new descriptions to work with in terms of new designs for outfits, I've mostly stuck with their original outfits apart from making pidge's top more jumpery and turtlenecky (i just have this way with words as you can tell)

I honestly plan to go through and draw like new spare outfits choices for all of them at some point cause I have always wanted a voltron episode of them all being like man we should probably like either try to get or at least make some clothes cause we all just have this outfit we left with and pyjamas

I might be doing a few of these based on the height charts I did a while back of what I thought the height progression for the show could’ve been with their designs over time season by season but this is what I have for now cause that will likely take a fucking while. I plan on having like gradual outfit changes over time.
