champiioness liked for starter
Another day, another...something. There was a time that
the clinic had been a safe space. Coin flowed into the right
pockets and, coincidentally of course, the right lips remained
sealed. Maybe not so much now. As it turned out, you didn't
just elbow up with the Champion of fucking Kirkwall and
remain unnoticed.
Not that he would complain. Her presence was a spark,
something interesting and (much as he hated to admit it)
exciting. Much more so than today had been, anyway.
Ointments had been doled out and salves applied, a
steady trickle of folk who were dressed far too well
taking him up on skill that had somehow become
well-known. He wasn't sure how that part made him
feel, but coin was coin and lips tightened in regards
to someone who could offer assitance. And it was
good work he did, helping those who could find it no
other way. Feeding the forgotten with the coin of the
embarrassed, things could have been worse. Still, a
smile had to tug at his lips when Hawke made her
presence known. He didn't have to look up from his
pestle to recognize her step or the small noise of
announcement.
"Ready to stir up some trouble, then?"
