It had been several weeks since Calamity Ganon had been vanquished, and a time of relative peace had come to Hyrule. Although monsters still dotted parts of the landscape, their ranks were thinning, as the blood moon had lost its power to revive them. Even with the Yiga Clan still at large, it was nonetheless the most stable time since the Calamity.
With the legendary hero’s quest now complete, Kass’ own mission had finished as well, and he was spending as much time with his daughters in Rito Village as possible, joyfully instructing them in the art of song. However, a summons from Hyrule Castle had interrupted this peaceful routine, and he flew as quickly as his wings would take him to the southern entrance.
An audience with the princess was not to be taken for granted.
Upon meeting Zelda, he dropped to one knee, spreading a wing across his chest while taking a bow - although, somehow, he still managed to be several inches taller than her.
