Packing list when going on vacation with your baby

Life gets more challenging when you become a mom. Going on vacation, should be a priority for you. However it can get challenging when you have no idea what to carry for your bundle of.

Below is a list of baby essentials when going on vacation.

Baby Gear

Of course as many toys as you can get. Make sure you get age appropriate toys otherwise you might as well leave them out.

Feeding 

A hungry baby equals an angry mom. Be well equipped. If you are on exclusive breastfeeding, Hallelujah! No packing for you! Just remember to carry breastfeeding appropriate clothes.

If you are on formula, equip yourself with enough bottles and the formula of course. If on solid foods, find a good spot to eat. Please note that hotel foods can be too spicy for babies. Always request for special orders for your baby. Especially if you just started weaning.

Clothing/Accessories

I need not remind you this. Mix both warm and casual outfits. Include a hat if traveling to hot area. For bigger kids, a pair of sunglasses would be appropriate.

Remember to include swimming costumes and sunscreen lotion SPF 40 and above.

Finally, have fun. Forget about policing and being an OCD mom! Let the baby have fun as well. It is called a vacation because we get to do things differently. You shall resume the routine when you get back home! Happy parenting!
