Why Vacuum Suction Changed Industrial Ironing
A vacuum ironing table solves a problem that's easy to overlook until you've actually pressed a large garment by hand: fabric shifts and bunches the moment you stop holding it flat. Rather than a person pinning fabric down with one hand while ironing with the other, vacuum suction pulls the garment taut against the tabletop from below, holding it in place so both hands stay free for the actual ironing motion.
The adjustable suction power matters more than it sounds — at ≥150Pa vacuum pressure, the system needs enough pull to hold heavier fabrics like denim flat, but too much suction on delicate silk can distort or damage the weave. Being able to dial that intensity down per fabric type is what actually prevents mistakes rather than a one-size-fits-all suction setting.
Multiple tabletop sizes (800x1500mm, 800x1200mm, 900x1800mm) reflect a real tradeoff in commercial settings: a larger surface handles bigger items like bedsheets or coats with fewer repositioning steps, but takes up more floor space — so the sizing options exist because different garment types and shop layouts genuinely need different footprints, not just as a marketing tier.
