   “Mrrrp…” Ah yes, the sound of a sleeping child disturbed as a hand comes to rest against the downy fluff of his hair. He shifts, limbs moving to stretch as he stirs, and it’s only after a jaw creaking yawn works its way up from his chest that he even bothers to lazily blink open his purple eyes. The last figments of his dream, whatever it was, slip away into nothingness.

There is something of a smile on his lips as he runs his hands through the arrancar’s hair. As Wonderweiss drifted into consciousness, he scratched gently at his scalp before pulling his hand away.

“Wonderweiss,” He scolds, stern tone dampened by affection. “I’ve told you time and time again to stop sneaking into my room.” Though the child never quite sneaked anywhere as he simply meandered into where ever he pleased. He did not mind the other sleeping on his bed, of course, but at the moment Kaname wishes to rest. The day has been long, as it were, though the innocence(?) of the hollow helped his mood brighten.

"Waoooo..!" /crash/ there it goes. Whatever had just been on that shelf is now on the floor, courtesy of one small, albeit rather surprisingly destructive arrancar.

❝Wonderweiss!❞ He did not need functional eyes to know what had happened there. That boy did not know how to keep his hands to himself, even if you told him a thousand times. Tousen might as well glue everything to their shelves. There was a reason he put things higher up so that the child could not reach. Apparently he found the sounds fascinating, or perhaps the feeling of destructiveness... Tousen did not much care for the reason, but he yanked the child to him by his wrist and pulled him to the bed, sitting him down on it.

❝No!❞

He should know that word by now. The ex-captain called in a servant to clean, turning back to the small arrancar. ❝Stay there. Don’t touch anything.❞

Let me work in peace.

Kahlua Almond Fudge, Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch and Wildberry Chocolate Chunk

Kahlua Almond Fudge:a language/words headcanon.

     Luppi knows four languages, of which are: Japanese, English, French and Spanish. More than likely this knowledge is the last remnants of Luppi’s human life expressing itself through his speech, but if asked how he knew them, Luppi wouldn’t be able to answer. However, most of his ability to speak Spanish was learned in Hueco Mundo.

     He really enjoys trying to woo others by sprinkling in a little French, as it is typically seen as a language of love, but he is almost never sincere in what he says. He’ll use it in order to get what he wants and that’s about it.

Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch:a mental health/neurodivergent headcanon.

     Luppi expresses a few symptoms of having Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), mainly from the unprincipled and amorous narcissist subtypes.

Unprincipled narcissist:     Deficient conscience; unscrupulous, amoral, disloyal, fraudulent, deceptive, arrogant, exploitive; a con artist and charlatan; dominating, contemptuous, vindictive.

Amorous narcissist:     Sexually seductive, enticing, beguiling, tantalizing; glib and clever; disinclines real intimacy; indulges hedonistic desires; bewitches and inveigles others; pathological lying and swindling.

     In reality, Luppi has extremely fragile self-esteem and reacts negatively to criticism of any kind. He will over-compensate by belittling others to validate himself. Additionally, Luppi also has a diminished sense of empathy and will only act how he’s expected to when put in situations in which it is needed.

Wildberry Chocolate Chunk:a social life headcanon.

     Luppi is perhaps one of the most social Arrancar in Hueco Mundo and goes out of his way to find those who are capable of paying him attention. When he is unable to find anyone that meets that criteria he can become particularly upset and snappy, and will isolate himself until he repeats the process again.

He mumbles nonsensically, the fingers of one hand shoved into his mouth as he surveys his new surroundings. This place is so unlike what he knows- so full of /colour- sometimes it's a little bit overwhelming. If he notices the presence of the other amid the curiousness of his new environment, he does not show it.

Seeing the child look around in awe piques Ukitake’s curiosity. He’s never seen an arrancar child before, and he’s certainly never imagined one to be a part of Aizen’s army. Approaching the child with caution in his steps, Ukitake bends down. “Hello there! What might your name be?”

"Waooooo..." It's not much of a greeting, more an absent vocalization of a thought he can't quite grasp, but it works well enough to announce his presence as the arrancar pokes his head into the other's room. He's been told that he's not supposed to wander, especially with his penchant for getting lost, but rules do very little to someone who cannot physically understand them, so he's wandered, he's gotten lost, and he's ended up here. There are worse places he could have gone, honestly.

     What was left of a content expression (although it was slight at best -- Luppi was bored and nothing good ever came of that) had fallen from the Sexta’s features upon the familiar sound of their Lord’s newest creation wafted into his quarters. Although the possibility of finding some sort of entertainment had been presented to him, the difficulty of not being completely understood made the idea less... enjoyable.

     “You, huh?” Luppi sighed, probably a little less pleased than his tone portrayed. Wonder... Wonder-something was definitely his guest’s name, but the ability to recall it completely was lost on him for now. “You had to wander off and end up here, didn’t you? What am I supposed to do with you now...” Grumbling, he settled for resting his chin in an upturned palm while he waited to see if he got some sort of reaction. Or maybe Wonder-something would leave.

His presence is announced with a wail, the child a hiccuping mess of tears and /hurt on the other side of the door. His stomach aches and the back of his head throbs and there's a definite splotch of red on his chin where it had met the unforgiving marble of the floor, and the noise escaping his mouth is nothing short of a loud cry for the comfort he's come to expect from the man.

Now these are noises so different from what he is used to that he actually somewhat hurries in his journey to the door. Reprimanding the Arrancar for not understanding the door has to be put off for a later time, because his pure child is hurt. He can hear it in the way he ‘speaks’. Even more scrambled than usual, with bawling and whining inbetween.

Tousen scowls. “Who did this, Wonderweiss?” A feww names immediately come to mind.

He knows the man as the man that sits with Tousen. The one that is Unlike Them. The one that sometimes sleeps in the hallways and makes loud noise with his reiatsu. Wonderweiss does not like him- does not like //inside him, ( Cold and Bad and Loud ) but he is alone, and Wonderweiss is alone, and his want for attention outweighs his apprehension. He coos, one hand in his mouth, and reaches out to poke the sleeping man's forehead. Sleeping in the hallway is not the wisest choice, Hisagi.

Shuuhei flinches awake in seconds, scrambling away from the contact as Kazeshini clatters to the floor. Wide, shadowed eyes dart around the hall, searching for his attacker before finally landing squarely on Wonderweiss. His heart is pounding from his latest nightmare, but he can’t remember any of it. He can’t remember any of his dreams here, and he thinks it’s better that way because they leave him with such a deep impression of horror that he simply doesn’t want to know what they entailed. 

“What do you want?” He demands. He’s being cold. Cruel, even. But he hates Wonderweiss, hates that the child has taken from him the only reason why he came to Hueco Mundo in the first place. The deep, aching feeling of being replaced sits in his chest and burns at him. It’s not the child’s fault, but he despises him for it all the same.
