(context) rambling more don’t mind me but i’m thinking so hard about how emotional shipping vaeril / the pigeon would be on route a (reincarnated alice route) bc current alice has to stand there and look this man in the eye who was betrayed by a past incarnation of them after he fell so deeply in love with them he was willing to give up his throne, home, family, friends and EVERYTHING to be with them and alice betrayed him back then just bc they were told it would save their own life

and like the dynamic of knowing that it’s NOT their fault, THEY aren’t THAT alice, they didn’t betray vaeril, their relationship has nothing to do with that betrayal, but it broke this man they love and even tho that wasn’t them, it “was them” once and like KJNERKJNMHKJNM

IDK I THINK IT’S AN INTERESTED DYNAMIC

having to mend a broken heart that your past self broke in the first place. repairing a relationship that was destroyed after such a tragic betrayal. on top of the fact that vaeril would ultimately be WILLING to try again, love again, trust again, believe in alice again despite everything that alice did to him
