Getting the drop on the swapped Team Surf from above! I only just barely made the deadline with this one. Sad to see the prompts end, but hyped for the event itself in a few weeks!

Some experiments with lighting and such on this one. I’m not sure I’m happy with the end product, but I adored this prompt. Selfies are so much fun!
Week One art for the Bonfire Bash Art Fight! Prompt: Menagerie!
Vaeryl and his loa, Ibulau, swimming through a kelp forest with a bunch of the other competitors. The Sea Mother’s favorite game is luring beach-goers in to swim with her and get lost in the fronds, and the Bash is full of prime candidates. So much fun drawing the other characters!
I do believe this is complete! Vaeryl’s ready for the @stranglethorn-bonfire-bash again this year! Representing Team Surf in the art fight.
