Hi! I want to apply to NYU for the MA program in art therapy. I've already applied to EVMS (visited there) and was really wowed by the school but not the area. I love NYC but I don't know much about the program. Any tips to get more info/when to visit? Thank you!

If you haven’t already, really look through the website. There is a lot of information on the faculty, courses, and Steinhardt in general. I would also contact Steinhardt for more information! If you’re looking to visit, I would definitely sign up for a campus visit and also contact the school and see if you could sit in on a class or at least visit with someone from the program. Whether that can happen usually depends on the school/programs, but it’s definitely worth it to ask! If you can, visit when school is in session so that you can get a feel for what the facilities and area will be like if you were to attend NYU. It’s a much different area when students are in school than when they’re not and it’s always good to see what a building is like when it’s full of students.
