listen im all for educating people who made a wrong point or something but you really dont need to curse them out and get so mad at them! lol! especially if theyre a minor! and still learning stuff in general! what a concept! like obviously being a minor doesnt excuse all behavior but if they literally just didnt understand a point of view you shouldnt get mad like that!

self-insert fics, self-shipping, OC/canon and stuff like that are not cringy and totally valid and people are allowed to write them, but it’s also fine to not want to read them, and most people don’t not read them because they’re “cringy” but because someone else’s escapism fantasies and stuff aren’t relatable to most people, and because people looking for fanfics usually want to read about the canon characters, and being mad/entitled about self-insert fics not getting as much attention is useless because of course it wont get as much attention if it’s not what other people are looking for 95% of the time
and as i said, this isn’t anti self shipping or anything. i personally don’t like it, don’t do it and don’t read or look for it, but other’s can do it as much as they want, but being mad at people for not reading it is dumb
tbh when it comes to adoptables, i dont think a free base filled with one solid color and maybe a white underbelly or whatever isn’t really worth 50 bucks
