A few years ago, I had an artist friend, prob one none of you know, who had a really interesting art style , and many very interesting and creative ideas. Tons tha inspired me!
But as time went on, his style and ideas grew less and less creative, he kept falling into trappings that had diminishing returns and... Worst of all, realized the dude was toxic as shit, a fun vampire, and just being around him fucking sapped my ideas because he never liked anything I made! No support or just a "huh, that's neat". Stuff that isn't necessary but does help me keep going
So I cut him and his friends off and I've been happier since.
I occasionally still see his art, and it's still got the same problems when I cut him off, no body variance, stereotypical sexy body type, and NO WAISTS. It looks so bad, and sometimrs he frustrating ly has a decent idea that's squandered with his style. Oh well, just a consequence of knowing people that are toxic and don't grow beyond something, just regressing..
