It was great! Sad, but that was the point. Although I'm still a bit confused. They don't share memories after the first week right?
i'm glad you liked it! it was a super fun, visually spectacular movie, but yes, it really made you feel for elisabeth (i got into a good-natured argument in the comment section of a video once where someone said elisabeth wasn't a sympathetic character and that they needed to learn more about her history to feel a connection to her, and i was like ??? she's absolutely a sympathetic character, i don't know what movie you watched. you don't need to know her tragic backstory or lack thereof to feel for her as an aging woman in entertainment (or, frankly, a woman, period) and all the hardships that come with that. like, that pre-date mirror scene alone is absolutely heartbreaking, c'mon).
hmm, i don't exactly remember, i'd have to rewatch and pay attention to that. but i mean, elisabeth and sue share a consciousness, they're literally the same person, the same mind, and the more they switch and start living in each of their bodies, the more they start feeling that separation and stop seeing the other as a part of themselves. it's probable that they don't remember much after the switch (like elisabeth after sue built the room, or sue after elisabeth left the house a mess), your consciousness jumping from body to body must be a pretty fucked up thing!
