I feel like I need a post of all the things that have gone wrong this trip just so that I will remember that Earl is at fault for all of these things when I next see him!
Earl announcing his final date but not clarifying that he meant the matinee, which meant I bought tickets to the wrong show
buying tickets to the matinee to make it a two show day, thanks Earl
Earl dying yet again so that this trip to see his final show happened long after he had already left
Alfie not in on the two show Les Mis day so it was a two show u/s day
the blizzard causing all shows to be cancelled, and on a two show day too, which meant I missed out on my one Alfie show and Allegiance
rescheduling so that I could see Alfie after all but missed out on The Color Purple
all Hamilton lottos getting cancelled while @vaincs was still there with us
that cancellation announced on twitter after we’d already walked twenty minutes through the cold to be there on time for the lotto
so much snow that when we got up and trekked through the snow on Sunday morning, we had to return back to the hotel without coffee because everything was closed
the damn snow melting so that I spent 3 days walking around in wet shoes because it is impossible to cross roads without stepping into ankle-deep puddles which my boots are not made for
these same favourite boots I wear everywhere because I can wear them all day and they have never given me blisters in three years finally rubbing the skin off my toes because they cannot deal with wet socks
Alfie not coming out and so breaking my lucky streak of catching all the Valjeans I have seen
missing out on the statues in the Museum of Finance
Hamilton Grange closed thanks to the snow so that we didn’t get to see it at all
