"I didn't think it would end this way..." The dying warrior called out aloud to his gods as he lay in a pool of his own blood and the bodies of his enemies surrounding him. Yet, from high above in the Halls of Valor, the Ascended looked down upon him. With a flick of his wrist the Val’kyr at his side spread her wings and left for the mortal plane. “End?” The heavenly warrior spoke aloud as he watched the scene unfold beneath him. “No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take.” He paused as the Val’kyr he had sent took the fallen warrior’s hand. Urging his soul to stand and then leave the bloodied ground with her as they soared skywards. “The dark clouds of this world rolls back… And all turns to morning light. Then you see it… White walls, etched with gold. And beyond? A realm of clouds and light that enjoy’a a perpetual dawn, stretching into infinity.” Pausing as he strode forwards to the edge of the golden platform he stood upon, the Ascended being inclined his head in a welcoming nod towards the soul he had summoned up to the Halls of Valor. “Well, that doesn’t sound so bad..” The once-mortal spoke in awe as he attempted to look past the massive figure. “No, no it isn’t.” He replied with a smile before stepping to the side and gesturing behind him to the open gates. “Lord Odyn awaits. Enter and join the Valajar, friend.”
