Hey Johnny! What? Wanna know my secret for staying so down to earth? It’s gravity!
Oh! That look on Johnny’s face was priceless! That was proof that the joke was worth it! As soon as Johnny was rolling his eyes, Vale was cackling like a some hyena at how bad their joke was! They just kept laughing and laughing and laughing until there were tears in their eyes and they could hardly breathe! One big wheeze in and some rubbing at their eyes later, and Vale was coming down from the emotional peak of getting that joke to work and NOT have Johnny anticipate it!
“C-C’mon!” They whooped out another laugh and slapped their knee. “What’s that look for?! That was comedy gold!”
