The new temple nearby in Wolf Street. The garden facing the forest. The wraith watched as the clergy prepared the coal for the trial of purity, the one they call Jordan walks out. He was about to turn away when he catches a familiar face.

He freezes.

Out walks them. The same features, the same face, the same eyes. Was history repeating itself?

To see the one he held close, walk amongst the hot coals, tears pricking their eyes as they remained strong. Watching as they took the final step to the cold ground. Their gaze eerily goes towards him, a bright smile on their face.

And they ran. They ran towards where he was, it was like deja vú. When they first passed the trial of purity. He was awaiting their embrace, awaiting for them to call their name

"SYDNEY!"

That's not his name. Instead, they called out the name of the blonde haired boy who was also watching them with baited breath. And they embraced.

The wraith felt a pang hit his chest. A bitter taste in his mouth, he felt like he couldn't breath like that time he... He shook his head.

He snapped out of thought when the monks were cleaning out the coal and the new innitiate walked back hand in hand with this 'Sydney'. He felt something... Something akin to losing his necklace.

Once blue eyes turning to a hue of red. As red as the moon at the end of the month.

Something unnatural stalks the streets
