My dear Val, handsome as ever! I am slowly experimenting with playing with my 50mm lens for doll photos, and Val was my first victim. These 4 shots turned out decent at least!

Val is a Simply Divine Thomas on a Doll Family-A 70cm body, with a Monique Gold wig and SoulinaBox eyes. Faceup by me over at @izasfaceups

My 2D Doll 68cm girl body arrived recently, and it's a great and heavy body. The resin on the surface almost feels soft it's so nice, and the sculpting is beautiful too.

I got the large bust for my girl, and it really is "large". Like they broke the company box with how mighty they are! I'm honestly amazed I managed to get pants on her thunder thighs at all. It was a fierce battle between unforgiving firm resin and me pulling stretched to oblivion fabric pants over her thighs and butt. I won in the end though, but I hope I can get them off her again in the future...

Sadly this body does not suit the head (Impldoll Azalea) I got it for, as its jaw is much too slim for the thick neck (despite being made for a 10cm neck...). I tried repainting her (she needed to be color matched) but the proportions still bother me.

It's sad really because I love how this faceup turned out! It's almost sad I'm gonna sell the head as it means I will wipe the faceup (it is character specific). Oh well, I will enjoy this faceup until I purchase a new head in the coming months.

She looks so cool, but I just can't get used to the wonk proportions...

Anyway, in my quest for head sizes, I decided to try two hybrid ideas. Let's put those under a cut. The second set has upper body nudes.

1st:

I put my Simply Divine Thomas head on the body, which has the right neck measurements, and actually looks quite nice. This head is already claimed though, and Val would not appreciate switching sexes like this. He's very much a cis-man, but he does look good on this body too.

And 2nd:

I tried an Iplehouse EID Camilla head on the body, and size wise it is excellent. There is some major gapping from the side though, as Iplehouse bodies have massive necks that balloon at the top. That can be easily hidden though with camera angles and wigs.

If I ever feel like updating Queen Ursa's body (my Iplehouse Camilla on an nSID body in peach gold) this would be a good contender since it fits so nicely. I would get her a smaller bust size though, like medium.

Overall, I am happy with this body and it's posing, I'm just a little sad about the head not looking right on it. Oh well, I guess it is time to reshell Kaya too...

Well it's been forever since I've posted here, my bad.

I did the unthinkable last year, I reshelled Val's head, not once, but twice. This is him now, and I think he will stay this way for a long time. He is now a Simply Divine Thomas.

I loved his original head, Dollzone Chen, so much that I couldn't even bear the thought of letting it go or not having it on a body. So, his original head is now on a girl body.

Val got a new face up, and I feel this is his best look yet. This is in fact his 5th face up I’ve given him since 2011. He also went through an official name change. He’s no longer Valdor Fable, he is now officially Valentine Fable which makes a lot more sense for his backstory.
