OKAY SO. on the 27th of June, my mother made a FATAL MISTAKE. During the one day we were home in between two trips, she thought it would be fine to take me to Petsmart with her while she looked at fish tanks. This was WRONG.

For little did she know that at that Petsmart was the most handsome and sweetest baby boy of ALL TIME and I would not REST until I had him in my arms and my room and my life forever and ever. He came right up to the cage bars looking for pets, he was so sweet that even my little sister, who is usually nervous around cats, loved him immediately. His power cannot be stopped.

I called the shelter and after I filled out an adoption application they agreed to reserve him for us until Monday, since we were leaving for the lake soon and obviously couldn't adopt him and then leave him alone.

SO. I have a time limit set. Exactly one week to convince my parents to let me get this cat. I had already been doing tons of cat research prior to this, and I was prepared to refute any and all of my parent's concerns with Facts and Logic. I addressed all of their concerns accordingly. My power cannot be stopped.

We get home Saturday, and plan to go see him Sunday. My parents have to make a decision on Saturday night, and it literally takes them foreverrrrrr UGH anyway. FINALLY. At 10:30 pm they are like okay the answer is yes. GRINS.

So we go to Petco to get a bunch of supplies and then we go to Petsmart to Acquire Baby Boy. He's kinda nervous that day and I'm kinda nervous too but I still know that he's the one so we fill out all of the adoption stuff again. AND TA-DA!!!
