Fluff | What hits their soft spot? Does anything turn them into emotional goo?

I have a feeling that this was meant to be a fluffy question, but —-

Talk to her about her family, about maybes concerning her decision to run back in 1492 — Elijah had been looking into a way to save the doppelgänger while still completing the ritual. Had she not run, might she have survived, and her family along with her? Tell Katherine Pierce, who has vampiric strength and five hundred years to grow vicious, that she could have fought harder to keep her daughter as a seventeen year old human. Or that there was more effort she could have spared as a new vampire, struggling to live nocturnally, learning the advantages and boundaries of being undead, running, in searching for her daughter. 

Also… tell her that Stefan said hi. ( The trash emerges. )Reciprocate her affections; she’s not incapable, but it would be quite a treat to not be so utterly alone. She likes sincerity. Heroes. 

Pistol | Is this character skilled with a weapon? What’s their opinion on violence?

As much as I dislike quoting / acknowledging season five, it’s true. She’s never needed, nor felt the need, to learn how to use weapons. Anything beyond the blatantly obvious…

Though she is not above indulging in it for sport from time to time; violence is, more often, simply necessity. ( Necessity being a slightly inaccurate term, acting as a result of jealousy would count as good reason to her. ) The act itself holds little weight to her — she certainly does not emphatise with her victims and has, over the years, grown numb to it all, or too used to the idea that it’s simply in a vampire’s nature. It’s enjoyable, no doubt, but simply a means to her ends.
