I’m so glad I found some ways to use this “caramel espresso” glaze. It’s so drippy that it will hit the kiln shelf during firing if I use it alone. But it looks amazing under my white as well as over the top of the “suede marsh” glaze. #happyme #glazetest #budvase #valflynnpots #springblooms

Kiln opening! It was another beautiful firing which is such a nice change after the past year of “failing forward”! Learning to make my own glazes and fire a kiln has been challenging but I finally feel as though I’ve got this figured out. And it feels real good.
