“Loki!”
Sif stormed through the ship, her blue eyes darting about the halls, looking for any sign or shape of the god. Unfortunately, he was adept at hiding when he needed to; even when they were children, playing hide-and-seek, he had always been difficult to find. Oh, but he would have to come out sooner or later, and unlike when they were children, Sif was not about to give up.
And he was in for quite the scolding when she finally did get her hands on him.
She should have known, though. Once Thor had stated that he wished to catch her up on all the happenings since her leave of Asgard, Loki had mentioned something about needing to slip away for a moment. He even promised to see her later; perhaps, they may also catch up, and she could tell him of her travels.
Oh, but he didn’t mean that. She realized that now.
“Loki!” she tried again as she neared the room that Thor had stated would be his brother’s.
He had some nerve. Pretending to die, making her mourn him while he watched on as Odin, and then sending her away from her home! If she had been there, things might have been different. Hela would not have been able to do all the damage she had, and Asgard may still exist. At the very least, less people would have died.
But no. He had sent her away. Why? Valhalla knows.
“Loki! I know you must be in there!” she shouted, pounding on his door. “Open up and face me.”
