First is Sativa, a lazy, there for the ride individual who just sort of got pulled into this mess because they were the first person Ari ran into on the way out the door. They tend to sort of point out important things after the fact and Ari can’t remember their name to save their life. Poor Sativa. Just eats their chips and watches the drama. Sativa is middle caste.. Caliban is the epitome of “perfection” in Valkava society and is upper caste.... VERY UPPER CASTE. Like Caliban is in the 1%. A skintone that is not too dark, not too light, a rare mono-toned iridescence which is one step below having a rainbow iridescence. Perfect height, perfect build, perfect muscular build... Caliban was born privileged, raised privileged and somehow has come to idolize Ariusel and now the two are best friends. Sometimes Caliban doesn’t realize how privilege they are compared to everyone else. Also in high demand to mate every year. Family is not too keen on Caliban tagging around someone as imperfect and low born as Ariusel, but don’t say anything because of Ariusel’s rank.... for now.
Yes those are gems in Caliban’s horns and they were grown in a VERY elaborate pattern. Valk horns grow fast and can be done up really fancy and it is common to see elaborate horns in the upper crust. The gems are just more glam for the bang, the horns grown around them.
