○ If you are playing a champion that runs out of mana very quick, always leave some mana for an ability that helps you to escape incase you get ganked. ○ After loosing a team fight and having to give up objectives, think where the enemy team might go next so you can defend and prevent more damage with your team spawning and being able to come and help soon after. ○ If you don't have a specific item build, don't only build against your lane opponent but also against what other lanes have that might delete you (Range, Tankiness, Ults or Stuns). In example if you play a low ranged ADC against a mid lane Azir you might want to rush Runaans Hurricane. ○ If you get auto filled ADC and you don't know who to play, play Jhin if he is not banned. He is a very safe pick due to his range. ○ Right now Ivern is very bad, but Nunu is overbuffed. ○ Also a good support now is Alistar. ○ If you play in a bot lane versus a Sona, pick something that can poke from range like a Vel Koz as your support. ○ Udyr is okayish in low elo, but very easily kited because he got no mobility. ○ If you are not good with Lee Sin, don't play him. Same with Ezreal. ○ If the enemy team is very tanky and cc heavy, try Olaf. ○ Valkrin always plays Rumble without his Ultimate on smart cast, even though he uses smart cast on everything else. If you struggle with his Ultimate, try doing this. ○ Leona and Rumble Ultimates are amazing together. Also MF and Malzahar's. ○ Jinx isn't picked a lot because she is very weak early game and very good late game, but with the games getting shorter and mistakes being very hard punished she isn't very good right now. ○ Nocturne and Veigar good in low elo, they get worse the higher you go up. ○ Utility Junglers are better because it's hard to carry as a Jungler at the moment and you need to feed your team so they can carry. ○ Gragas is still an okay pick in the jungle but since the nerfs there are better Junglers to play. ○ Elise with Cinderhulk is not good anymore, get Runic Echoes for mobility and burst, Ryalais and then tank if you are planning on going tanky. ○ Twitch jungle works, but is not very good because of his clear speed. ○ When loosing a lane as support, try to roam if your ADC is safe and farms (leave wards). The best time to roam is after recall and a mobility boots buy. ○ To be a good roaming support you should have good crowd control with mobility. ○ Irelia is a counter to Kennen ○ Talisman is underrated right now, it got buffed a lot. ○ If you want to play Trundle or Volibear Jungle, only do this if they have a low crowd control enemy team because you are easily kited ○ Maokai is very bad versus Gnar ○ If you play Shaco you want to get your team loads of kills and then split push in late game. ○ If you take your buff before recaling, you can loose up to 25% of the buff. Still, only leave it if you know the enemy won't take it. ○ Titanic Hydra works on Shacos clone ○ Place boxes at the side of the lanes when splitting as Shaco so you can escape when you get chased. ○ Red smite is better at Shaco because it gives you good scaling and helps with early duels.

Practicing Non-meta champions (15/9)

○ If you do Baron Nashor while behind experience and gold, and the enemy team had/ has any kind of vision on you potentially doing Baron, you are probably gonna get aced.

○ Right now, Nidalee has the quickest jungle clear.

○ Also, tanks are very good against AP carries because of Spirit Visage, which is especially amazing as a heal tank like Dr. Mundo.

○ If the enemy team picks a Dr. Mundo, Vayne is a good counter to him

○ Ocean Dragon in late game is a waste to fight for (or die) except if you got a very poke-y team composition.

○ Volibear is primarily used to snowball early game (or laning phase) and it is not very easy to make good plays in the late game.

○ If your Mid Laner is behind/ weak/ feed, Dragon is nearly impossible, because if you fight, it is more a 4v3 than equal fights. This is because Mid Lane is an important lane and no control over it means, less control of Dragon, Rift Herald, Baron, and even your own jungle.

Pro Tip: Always Win (14/9)

○ Always be prepared to get invaded. Don’t AFK and lose the game before laning phase even started!

○ Sona is not a very good support right now (at least not till level 6)

○ As a jungler, always think of when you show yourself in lanes, because the enemy jungler can/ will counter jungle you

○ Additionally, know where your enemy jungler is. If it is an AP jungler, he probably starts blue, ward the enemy jungle to see where they start and what route they might take (ex. skip buffs on first clear). Also you might want to let the opposite lane you are starting on ward for you, to check, as well, if you are unsure.

○ If your team does Rift Herald and the enemy team tries to fight for it, but you got it, dont worry about the buff, if you need to fight first. The buff stays for 15 seconds and only your team can pick it up, so dont risk dying by standing still, trying to pick up buff.

○ When playing as/ against a Rumble, remember that if you hit someone/ get hit with the harpoon, they/ you are slowed and stay in his ultimate longer, which also has a 35% slow.

○ Stealth in low elo is good, because players dont buy pinks as much, dont know how to ward against stealth champions or buy the red trinket except if you are a support

○ Also, as a jungler, if you have a blue reliant mid laner, take an AD jungler.

Secrets To Challenger (13/9)

○ On Xin, Valkrin prefers to take Ghost over Flash because when you gank, and run quickly towards them, you might make them flash, then use E as a gap closer for kill (Even if you dont kill them, Flash has a higher cooldown than Ghost)

○ If you do the quick jungle clear, where you only do the small camps and leave the buffs, and see the jungler ganking somewhere, you can work out by clicking on them and see if the enemy jungler counter jungled you

○ Also, ALWAYS have vision on baron!

○ Xin, even though he has a bad reputation, got buffed a lot, and is also very good in teamfights (and works agains Janna)

○ Question by viewer: Borks on Xin? Valkrin thinks, Blade of the Ruined King is unnecessary on Xin because Bloodrazer is better and BORK also does less and less damage the longer the game goes on

○ On Rengar, Valkrin recommends Stormraider’s Surge because it means you can go into teamfights, do some damage, get exhausted and then run when they start focusing you

○ Right now, AP supports are good (ex. Brand, Vel Koz, Annie, Bard)

○ Kha Zix can solo dragon very easy and also has a jump ability, so always have vision of dragon, and add an extra ward, even when you have the Scuttel Crab Vision, because it doesnt show what’s going on inside dragon pit

○ If you think about Yorick support, talk with the ADC because the ghouls make it very hard to last hit for your Carry. But, he can do drag very easy with his ultimate.

○ Ocean Dragon is only good in laning phase, when you get to the late game, dont fight for it

○ If you take a jungler that needs to farm till level 6 before being able to gank, make sure your team knows and doesnt feed  and falls behind. Otherwise the enemy jungler invades or counter jungles you and your team can’t help you or has to give up objectives in return.

○ Nidalee, Graves, Zac or Rek Sai are junglers that can gank early and pressure lanes, but also can just farm to level 6

○ Kog Maw with Runaan’s Hurricane, Bloodrazer and Rageblade is busted

○ If you are winning and got two or even three inhibitors after a teamfight, wait till the minions are pushing before you start baron, so they have to defend their base

○ Cinderhulk is better for late game and tankiness

○ Zac is the best tank jungler since Rek Sai and Graves just got nerfed

○ Recommended Evelynn build: Sorcerer’s Boots, Runic Echoes, Protobelt and Lichbane (late game: Rylais Cristal Septor or Void Staff)

○ In low elo, players dont pink as much, so Evelynn can be very good
