I finally got some new space nails!
My latest design is inspired by Lady Liberty and her message of inclusivity:
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
The idea was basically just the crown, but in galaxy style instead of the actual greenish color (due to the oxidation of copper). As we’ve mentioned on the blog before, science is for everyone. And science only makes progress when both scientific ideas AND scientists themselves are free to cross any and all borders. So this design was sort-of my way of saying: all are welcome in science, astronomy, and the universe.
