psssst valorant players a beginner needs help

i just downloaded Valorant. i can get a free agent. i dont know who to pick.
as some background, im not that much of a FPS player, infact valorant is the 2nd FPS game ive ever played. my first (2 years baby!) is TF2, still an avid player. ive always been a support main; e.g., i main medic and scout, if you know anything about tf2. but this said, i am very flexible in my playstyle, i can fill any role, but support is the role im most comfortable with especially in terms of new games.
i picked up Sage, buuuut i dont really like how she feels to play. maybe its just new player stuff and i have yet to get used to her? but uugueuhhg she feels clunky to me. i dont like her. i also have very minimal knowledge of the maps, and it's probably going to take me a while to learn them, so i dont know how i feel about having utility dedicated to like, covering flanks and routes etcetera. i feel like im going to sabotage the team lmao
i dont mind more aggressive roles (see; scout main, 191k dmg in mvm, also a decent pyro player), i usually NEED them to be fast paced i CANNOT handle a slow DPS (or anything for that matter) but Valorant is much more fast paced so i dont think that's all that much of an issue. i like being able to have a balance, yknow?
sooo... what agent do you recommend? i must admit that Sage is the only one i've tried so far, other than Phoenix in the tutorials. Vyse, Clove & KayO all caught my eye but i dont know if theyre beginner friendly or not? Jett seems obvious but. like. 1. she gets instalocked like INSTANTLY 2. idk... i dunno......... i'll give her a try but.. Idk
