what is an ideal "new weapon" for you that could be added to the monster hunter series? personally, i'd kill for a pair of gauntlets as a weapon type just for the catharsis of punching an elder dragon's lights out. but also a boomerang-ish weapon would be cool. or a pile-bunker like a mini dragonator.
maybe it's just because ive been playing dauntless a lot lately (and because of the admiral's whole Thing in world..... let the old man fistfight god capcom) but i would LOVE to see a gauntlets weapon or just. any kind of melee fist weapon like that, it would be SO fucking funny to beat up an elder dragon with my bare hands
a boomerang sort of thing would be super interesting too though👀 i could see it being maybe some sort of melee/ranged hybrid, where you can attack at close range with it but at a distance you can throw it
