we went in for dental surgery today, his third one (and so I thought I knew what to expect). But when he woke up - he was so upset. no amount of cuddling or singing or hugging was helping, and it broke my heart. I just held him as he kicked and cried 😔 . they said it’s normal for the kids to wake up that way, but I felt so awful seeing him that way. my brain finally kicked in and I rolled on our #feelbetterroller hoping it would help him calm down. It went onto the soles of his feet and wrists, and on my chest and daddy’s chest as we were both taking turns just holding him as he sobbed. 🍊 . A few minutes later, he stopped kicking and slowly stopped sobbing long enough to ask for Iris.
