Oak Park's Val's Halla Records gets a shot at a Super Bowl Ad
OAK PARK, ILLINOIS - Val Camilletti knows it’s a long shot, but her enthusiasm for winning a TV commercial during the 2014 Super Bowl does not wane regardless.
“What the hell?” said Camilletti, owner of the 40-year-old Oak Park institution Val’s Halla Records, 239 Harrison St. “I’m having great fun doing it, bragging and having friends go on social media and say, ‘You’ve got to vote today.’ I mean, how cool is that?”
