       𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍T as factual, but she doesn’t entirely agree with it.    to deny that the truth isn’t complicated sometimes leaves people , consequences , open to being seen as less important. but, to know the full  &&  true extent of the truth seemed just as important. lying often go one no where  &&  made situations   𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓼𝓮   than what they need to be. eyes downcast themselves for a moment , lips pressed together in thought.   a breath inward follows:     ❝  the truth will always be more complicated than we wish it to be.   i’ve learned that through experience . . ❞   as the demi-god is sure she has as well ! who can live as long as they && not see truth in that ?     ;       ❝  but,  ❞   there always seemed to be a “but” yet with diana she chose to turn it as positive as she could.  ❝  knowing the full truth , no matter how hard to hear or hard to understand , is just as important as seeing the complexity of truth itself.  ❞   hopefully her point was being made && well understood.  ❝  concealing the truth often causes more problems. don’t you agree with that much ?  ❞   brow arches slightly.

       𝐈𝐅 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐈𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 𝐒𝐎 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄, 𝐒𝐎 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 && 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄.   the actions chani took against those who had a hand in the death of her first born could’ve be understood by anyone who wasn’t a parent , who didn’t love that child. she was angry, she was grieving,  &&  she just wanted someone to pay for what happened—it couldn’t go unanswered, she couldn’t allow them to go on after what they   𝓽𝓸𝓸𝓴    from her. some might think her horrible, but they don’t understand a mothers anguish nor her anger.     (   would freya ?  a momentarily consideration while standing before her. hearing her words, taking in her features.   if chani explained these deeds alluded too, the actions that caused them, would she understand or look upon her in disgust ?   )     ;      crysknife is held within her palm still before it’s placed back in the holder at her side. head raises, blue within blue eyes taking a moment to simply peer toward the other woman.  ❝  I do not  𝚁𝙴𝙶𝚁𝙴𝚃   my deeds as they were for the vengeance of my son.  ❞   baby leto, her first . . the love of her life in a way that differed from paul.  ❝  but they bother me at times—I consider if i truly deserves to takes those peoples life’s for what was taken from me. the satisfaction, momentary, I gained from it . . ❞  a pause, a shake of her head, adverted eyes.     ❝  shocks me some if I choose to dwell on it for long.   no one can really understands . . a mothers grief nor her anger in circumstances like these.  ❞

A wry look cut across Nico’s mouth before he sighed, running a hand through his hair to try to straighten the bedhead. He hadn’t had dreams before he came to this realm, leaving the Underworld far behind. Of course he’d heard Hypnos’s tales before the left, about the dreams the god of sleep might bring and sometimes the portents those dreams might speak to those that dreamed them. But it was one thing to hear the tales and another to see the dreams.

And these dreams were bizarre. Possibilities and chances colliding together in a confused display, people and places he’d never seen before connecting in the most stomach churning way. Nico hardly knew where he could begin to unravel it.

   the valkyrie queen’s question is not unfounded , fair under current circumstances , those who could not fend for themselves were a liability –-- yet it amuses her all the same ,  though it only briefly reflects in her downcast gaze.

❝ 𝐘𝐄𝐒 ,❞  hands busy themselves weaving leather for sindri , her attempt at helping speed up the armor making process , in truth a welcome distraction from her racing mind. the restlessness that stirs deep in her bones. the time was drawing nearer , fimbulvetr rages on and she can sense a shift in the life forms around her. the wind , as violent as their reckoning would be, carries with it the distant howls of her kin,  inching ever closer to their prey, now only a breath away from capture.  

                      𝒎á𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒓 calls her to hunt.

his voice is a comfort she’s known all her life , lulling her to sleep on days where his distance was felt the most. odin had robbed her of his presence --- and now that chains were ready to be unbound she is eager to make up for lost time.

❝ … nature is unforgiving , ❞ as she too had learned to be to endure , ❝ i would have died long ago if the answer to that question was no. ❞  there was no warrior on this side of the battlefield who did not carry the weight of survival , of choices made out of necessity. indomitable spirit binding them all together. perhaps it’s why she feels less inclined to direct her anger at her temporary hosts. common enemies had a way of uniting even the most reluctant of allies.  funny --- that hatred of the alfǫðr would succeed  , where other’s had failed time and time again , to bring the realms together.
