I started some chibis of my favorite Disgaea characters around halloween. But I never got around to finishing a whole batch till now! I very much treasure these goobers (❁´◡`❁) Disgaea (c) Nippon Ichi Software

Fun fact: Originally I used Valvatorez's colors from an old still (not in-game), which the first image has if you notice. It wasn't until later that I played around with darker colors and added it into the second image. He wouldn't be able to stand out in the first lol Disgaea's portraits are definitely a fun way to see how color theory works in action. Sometimes you don't realize that a dark blue can look like a shade of black.

The hair selection isn't as shonen-protag as I would like, but combined with the face paint I think it turned out decently. I tried the white "eye shadow" to fake a white sclera but it doesn't look good when he closes his eyes. Perhaps I should just make him even paler overall.

Whether I will get the full version of Tomodachi Life will depend entirely on my ability to re-create the cast of Disgaea 4 in the demo.
