Valve Pormeister's Flower Pavilion (1960, on the right), and Tuljak restaurant (1965, left) in Tallinn. Pormeister is one of the greatest Estonian architects of the 20th century. Although trained as a landscape designer, she became the leading architect in the State Rural Design Office (Eesti Maaehitusprojekt), designing simple and elegant buildings well fitted into their surroundings.
