Indian VAM prices
VAM market trends showed a mild correction this week after a strong upward movement over the past month. Indian VAM prices declined by Rs 5.00/kg, with Mumbai prices settling at Rs 222.00/kg, down from Rs 227.00/kg in the previous week. This comes after a steady climb, reflecting active trading conditions.
Despite the weekly drop, the overall trend remains strong. Prices rose by Rs 20.00/kg over the past fortnight from Rs 202.00/kg and have gained Rs 70.00/kg over the last month. In the three-month view, the market has recorded a sharp increase of Rs 133.00/kg from Rs 89.00/kg. The trading band has been wide, with highs reaching Rs 232.00/kg and lows at Rs 89.00/kg. Indian VAM prices continue to indicate strong demand fundamentals and recovery momentum. At the same time, VAM prices in India remain significantly higher compared to six months ago at Rs 79.50/kg.
