TW: GORE/KINDA BLOOD/POSSESSION?.../PTSD KINDA
Caine was sitting in the recycling bin. He had his head bowed and his mouth firmly shut, determined to block out the view of the almost completely dark box surrounding him, almost painfully similar to the box where he was trapped years ago. Argh, no don’t think about that- He groaned slightly, pushing his hands further up onto his head, squeezing his teeth together tighter, almost seemingly fracturing the bottom teeth below the tops. Suddenly he felt some strange air around him, different as he felt a ripple of pain rip through his body. “Argh-” He grunted, attempting to open his jaw to look around but snapped it shut as he felt himself falling through the air. He hit the ground with a loud ‘thump’ noise, the shock of it knocking all of the air- Air?... out of him in one quick movement. He huffed slightly, his head rolling to the side as he attempted to get the air back into his…lungs?... What- I didn’t need to breathe before the bin- what happen- His thoughts whirled for a moment, as if blown around by a strong wind. He laid there for a moment, hearing faint, almost silent sounds…talking? He attempted to sit up, cracking open his jaw as he looked at the ground in front of him. Huh…that isn’t the recycling bin… He thought for a moment in confusion as he looked at the black and white tiled floor before a strong feeling of pain ripped through him strongly, making him yelp as he fell back to the ground, his body aching as he felt his mouth change, forcing his jaws apart slightly as he felt them change as he looked at the ground below him, the checkered floor of the…Circus?... the only thing he could see other than his fangs-fangs?!- was the black and white tiles. His closed his mouth once more, as soon as he felt his jaw stop contorting and moving around like clay being melded by human hands. Humans…wait, where was the human- ARGHH- His own thoughts were cut off as another painful surge of pain flooded through him, his thoughts nearly going blank at the sheer amount of pain that flooded his receptors and senses. Suddenly he heard the…voices?...again, this time closer as he was laying on the floor, his body contorting as he winced and grunted in pain, digitized sweat breaking out all over his body and dripping quietly on the flooring.
He felt his body grow slightly, his jaw growing and his eyes-currently enclosed inside of his jaw- start to morph, making him let out a weak wail of pain as he clawed-clawed?!- at the cold tiles below him. Another surge of pain and soreness washed through him, finally, eventually fading as he felt something imbue itself inside of him, making him wince as he tucked into himself. He faintly heard his own gloves tear from something as he felt another growth spurt make him grow nearly a full foot taller than he had been a minute ago. How did I go from-argh- trashed and thrown away in a BOX-oof-to THIS?! ARGHH- He felt his eyes switch as he suddenly cut off his own thoughts once more and he convulsed on the ground. “Caine?!” He flinched through his pain as he attempted to sit up slightly, the pain fading as he winced and laid back down, not even having the strength to roll onto his back as he heard footsteps. Ow…why are the footsteps so loud- He grumbled in his head, about to shake it to clear it but decided against it because of the slight pounding in his head. “Caine-Caine! Are you-what-” The voice-Kinger- called, the footsteps coming closer as he heard a few more following behind Kinger’s footsteps. “Uhn…I-ARGH-I-” Caine grunted, attempting to sit up as he heard the footsteps slow, opening his mouth tentatively and wincing slightly at the lighting. He grunted as he got up, putting a hand on his kneeled leg and pushing himself up as quickly as he could manage. “C-Caine?...” Came another voice, almost making Caine freeze as he finally managed to get up to a standing position. It was Pomni. “Pomn-urgh-Kinge-” He blinked a couple times, his new fangs clicking together slightly as he focused his eyes, looking around a couple times as the aching in his body finally subsided, leaving just a strange…almost a hunger? Wh-Is this hunger feels like? I never needed to eat before… He groaned as he rubbed his jaw, closing it as he rubbed the top of his upper jaw, blinking his eyes open again. He suddenly felt energetic, almost like he could run a marathon or fly for miles and miles. Why do I feel so weird… He finally landed his eyes on his humans, eyes slowly focusing as they came into a sharper focus, almost more than before.
“Oh-Oh uh….Hi?” He said, clearing his throat as he realized it was raspy. Wait-raspy? That’s a human thing, that’s never happened to me- He shook his head, sighing once he realized that the aching pain that had encompassed his entire body a minute ago was gone, somehow. That almost felt like a virus, but…I wouldn’t have a virus, right? No…no, that’s not possible, I was in the Trash Bin, there’s no alive viruses in there… Suddenly he heard Kinger take a tentative step forwards before stopping, making his head snap up slightly as he took a nervous step back. They deleted you…they HATE you…you can never go back to normal, they deleted you, they deleted you, they- “ARGH-” He suddenly yelped, making the other humans take a step back, Pomni nearly falling over in nervousness at his yelp. His vision blurred slightly, making him blink as everything went slightly red and he froze. He felt his pupils contract, almost as if he was nervous, but…that didn’t make sense, he wasn’t nervous. Then he looked at his hand, where his gloves were…torn? No, my avatar- I can’t just change it that easily, consciously or subconsciously…the monstrous form I’d taken about…eh give or take a day ago was by accident though… Maybe this is something like that? He blinked, glancing back to the humans as he suddenly watched them intently, that wave of…hunger? Coming back quickly. “C-Caine, why are you looking at us like that, and wh-what’s wrong with your e-” Pomni started, Kinger taking a very large step back as he looked at Caine with concern and horror. “Argh…the-ow…” He stumbled back a step or two, realizing he couldn’t fly but he could still walk, luckily. He heard something click on the tiled floors, looking down to see black talons like the ones on his fingers protruding out of his shoes, having ripped large holes in them. They weren’t just on the tips of his fingers or toes…oh, no. They were the ends of his actual fingers and toes. Not an extension, something that had almost merged with his actual feet and hands. He groaned again, clutching his upper jaw as he blinked, hard. That…weird hunger/pain sensation coming back in a wave as he nearly was knocked over by it. By instinct, his gaze snapped back up to the humans, who were watching this horror go on with a mix of confusion, shock, and a solid mix of almost-pity and horror. “R-Run…” He growled, his voice low as his vision almost entirely went red, enough for something to have changed in his appearance that made the humans take several steps back. He felt his thoughts melt away as he zeroed his gaze in on Kinger, who was still looking at him with confusion and shock. He felt the anger sweep over him, for what they’d done to him, they deleted him, and it was KINGER’S FAULT. He watched as he almost saw Kinger’s heart beat, the pace fast and shockingly vivid to Caine as he glanced down, though his gaze snapped back to his face a moment later. “I said…RUN.” Caine growled with the last of his sanity before he darted forwards, abnormally fast as he grabbed Kinger’s neck and yanked it towards him, his jaw latching onto his neck as some strange dark brown substance that smelled almost coppery broke through the wood around Caine’s newly sharp teeth. He dug his fangs in deeper, Kinger letting out a yelp before he went limp in Caine’s jaw, Caine almost cutting clean through his neck before he felt the dark brown liquid hit his tongue, coming faster and faster as he kept his grip on Kinger as he stayed limp. He felt the blood-like stuff start dwindling, making him let go as that redness in his vision lessened, making him blink as the dark brown blood from the chess piece blocked some parts of his vision, coating his teeth and some strands dripping from the top of his jaws. His eyes were clear of the blood though, almost like they had a barrier around them.
He scanned the area for the other humans as he glanced at the broken-looking chess piece that was lying at his feet. Kinger’s neck was almost completely cleanly broken through, his eyes closed as his chest rose and fell unevenly. Marks where Caine’s new black claws had broken through Kinger’s outer wooden layer in puncture wounds were clear along his sides, his robe cut open and ripped in several places, left almost in tatters. He heard some part in the back of his mind almost screaming to stop this and help him, or at least offer Kinger some comfort, but he ignored it, firmly pushing it to the back of his mind as he scanned the circus with sharp eyes. He spotted some movement around the corner, a flash of red ribbon disappearing behind a large, multicolored stack of human-sized blocks that served no purpose other than hiding. He dashed forwards, his vision blurring for only a moment before he snapped his neck around, enhanced vision scanning the area before spotting a stack of ribbon with a ceramic mask watching him in horror while backing up clumsily. There was a brief moment where he tilted his head at her predatorially, thinking about how to get the blood-like substance out of her. He knew it was there, after all. He decided and he leapt forwards, almost seemingly flying for a split second before his jaws clamped down on one of her ribbons, the one that was closest to her neck, anyways. Immediately, there was a gush of dark red, flecked with silvery white here and there. Blood. Caine clamped down harder, making Gangle yelp as he almost tore completely through the ribbon as her happy mask she was wearing almost shattered in half, making some nagging part in the back of Caine’s mind flinch and attempt to yell out something as the red in Caine’s vision flicker, the red almost disappearing but not all the way. He let up once Gangle went limp and the blood flowing through his mouth stopped, bubbling slightly before stopping completely, making Caine huff slightly in anger before letting go in irritation. He watched as she slumped to the ground, the piece of ribbon that was her neck almost completely frayed in half where he had bitten down and drawn out the blood-esque stuff that he apparently craved. He snapped his head around, the blood that was now dripping down his canines and almost completely silently trickling down to almost puddle on the flooring. He scanned the shadows and the floor, his eyes watching closely for any sign of where another human may have gone. There was still that feeling in the back of his head that screamed something about not hurting any more of them, slightly louder than before, making him shake his head slightly before blinking hard, pushing it firmly to the back of his mind. He finally spotted a piece of colorful fabric laying on the ground, apparently torn off of a human when they were running from the previous scene, caused by a sharp corner or sliver on a cartoon barrel that was laying nearby. He narrowed his jaws, focusing closely on the fabric and scanning the colors, his processors whirring and deducing it to have come from…Pomni. That voice in the back of his mind screamed something unintelligible, making Caine wince slightly before running forwards to follow the trail left by Pomni’s fabric.
He crept up on Pomni slowly, watching as she glanced around nervously before backing up a bit, watching the entrance to her room in fear and horror. Little did she know, Caine was already there. That voice in his head was screaming now, something intelligible actually coming through once in a while, something about ‘don’t hurt’ and ‘no!’. Caine shook his head, blinking a couple times as he rolled his tongue along his newly sharp canines and other teeth to clean off a bit of the excess blood from them from Kinger and Gangle. He leapt forwards, blocking the doorway as Pomni yelped something as he stalked forwards, his eyes watching her intently before he leapt, landing on top of her as he watched her neck, spotting a thing that looked like a vein as he licked his teeth hungrily, leaning in quickly as he prepared himself for the sweet taste of blood. Suddenly there was an excruciatingly sharp pain in his head, making him yelp and lean forwards, dropping Pomni as she scooted backwards on her butt, her back bumping the wall as she stared at him in horror as his eyesight cleared, that voice in the back of his head becoming clearer as he blinked hard, attempting to push the voice back in his head, but it was perfectly clear now, his vision blurring slightly as he grunted, closing his jaw forcefully as he internally battled with the other thing. Suddenly his vision went dark, making him yelp as he passed out quickly, feeling his body fall to the floor before he lost consciousness.
Caine groaned, feeling his body as it ached slightly, some areas hurting more than others, but overall he was coated in pain, his pain receptors throbbing with the soreness and pain. “Uhn….” He groaned, making some footsteps behind him start, tentatively becoming louder as he grunted, attempting to get up by lodging a painful arm underneath him and pushing himself up. “Caine-wh-” Came a voice, drifting through the thick, painful haze of his head as he attempted to open his jaws, the room he was in surprisingly dark. He blinked slightly, looking around as he realized his new fangs were coated in some sort of dark substance. He impulsively licked it to clean it off, wincing when he tasted copper and iron and when half of it didn’t really come off, dried slightly and stuck to his teeth. Suddenly there was someone in front of him, shaking from something as he glanced up, looking away from his fangs as he focused his eyes on…Pomni? “Wh-Why are you shaking?” He asked, wincing as he attempted to get up again, Pomni’s eyes wide as she watched him stand up, although shakily. “What-wh-what do you m-mean? You-” She stammered, shaking her head as Caine stilled, his eyes widening for a second. “Wha-What do you mean, ‘you’...?” He asked, his voice cracking as he looked down at his glove, where it seemed almost more ripped around the clear skin and the dark black claws that protruded from the white gloves. “Y-You were…hunting…me…and you attacked Kinger? Do you not…remember?...” She trailed off, staring at him as he stilled almost unnaturally, staring at her in horror as his processors took in the words and he searched through his memory files.
<CAINE.ENTY-SEEN MEMORY FILES ENTIRELY.>
He stilled, thinking for a moment before snapping back to the moment where Pomni was walking tentatively towards him. He searched his memory again, more thoroughly this time. He had faint echoes of…him screaming? It was black, and he was yelling out to someone until his metaphorical throat was sore. He blinked hard, his fangs clicking against each other as he made Pomni wince as she walked forwards, her legs seemingly barely supporting her. She hooked an arm around his arm, pulling it over her neck and heaving him up, though he was now…taller? What in the heck happened… He winced as he heavily leaned on his foot, a zinging pain ripping through it as he let out a yelp, a faint memory of him coming to a hard stop after running fast, almost breaking the appendage with the force of the stop. He winced, enough that Pomni turned to look at him in confusion. “Argh- It-It’s just my leg, I’m fine-” He stammered out, shifting his weight onto his other foot, which was heavy and sore but not as bad as the other one, luckily. He walked a step, Pomni watching ahead as he watched his feet, eventually reaching the door and stepping out into the hallway with the other human’s rooms. He winced once or twice when he accidentally put too much weight on his bad foot, but otherwise he was walking back towards the main area with only mild discomfort, Pomni having taken a bit of his struggling off of his bad leg.
He walked into the main section of the circus, groaning as he flopped down into the pink couch, realizing as he did that it was slightly more saturated than the rest of the tent, which he also now realized was desaturated. His upper teeth twisted slightly, turning into a frown-like shape as he thought, sighing heavily before looking back to Pomni, who was looking at something behind the couch in absolute horror, her eyes wide and her entire body stilled. Caine looked at her in confusion for a moment before sitting up heavily and looking behind the couch, almost screaming from what he saw there. His new claws ripped slight gouges into the couch, barely an inch long but cleanly cut. Kinger was laying there, his robe ripped in spots and where his neck would’ve been was almost completely cut in half. Caine stared in horror as Pomni suddenly closed her eyes, leaning forwards and putting a delicate hand onto Kinger’s shattered and splintered side, draped with pieces of thick purple robe and white fluff dappled with black and grey spots. Suddenly after a moment Kinger’s robe repaired itself abruptly, the splintered wounds in his side and his neck area repairing themselves almost completely, although leaving a few spots that were rough and splintered, hazardous to touch lest someone gets splinters. Kinger’s eyes flicked open, their shocking blue landing on Pomni almost immediately, him looking down in surprise. “Well, I suppose that’s a good way to practice conjuring…” He laughed, coughing a couple times before sitting up carefully, wincing a couple times as he brushed his hand along the wounds in his neck wood and the puncture wounds in his sides. Caine suddenly looked down at his claws, getting a very bad feeling at what he was about to see there. His claws that were poking out of his gloves had small pieces of wood splinters, some wood dust flaked on his new black colored claws as he froze for a moment, staring at them while some emotion flooded over him and his eyes felt blurry for some reason.
“C-Ca-Caine-” Suddenly Kinger stammered out something, making Caine’s head slowly look up and see Kinger stumbling away, eyes wide and more afraid than Caine had ever seen him. “N-Nono-” Kinger stumbled, falling back and wincing for a moment before closing his eyes and seemingly bracing himself for some sort of attack. Caine’s face fell-not that it was smiling or anything before- as he looked at Kinger in shock, some slight heat pricking his eyes before he turned away, laying diagonally on the couch and sinking slightly into the digital cushions. He closed his jaw as he attempted to block out the sound of Pomni comforting Kinger while Kinger’s sounds of confusion and horror filtered through the talking. Caine covered his head with his hands, eventually falling asleep though just pure accident, not even activating ‘Sleep Mode’, just…falling into unconsciousness, almost like fainting earlier but without the painfulness.
Caine came too, slowly and tentatively blinking open his jaws, his fangs blocking only a few feet of vision. I never had a sleep mode before… He trailed off in his head, blinking once as he attempted to clear his vision, his body was almost completely weighed down, not even able to move a single finger whatsoever.
I'm SO SORRY to Kinger and Gangle fans, was curious on how he would get their blood, so I kinda just...went 4 it srry lol
