Dragon Quest isn't a super popular fandom on Tumblr, so there hasn't been a lot for me to post ever since DQXIS stopped being new.

5. What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

From a kudos perspective, probably a shorter leash. It's a short little tumblr rambling with no dialogue but people on ao3 seemed to like it, which was nice.

From a commenting perspective, maybe comm me. this fic was 100% dumb self-indulgence and it was nice to see people liked the humor as much as I did.

19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

oooh that's a good one. i definitely tend to stick to my one romantic yuhuang pairing in my current fandom, but I'd like to write some more gen friendship stuff (friendgenda!!) for yu wenzhou and huang shaotian.

25. Did you receive any gifts this year?

I did!!! hazel drew the most fabulous art for my de-aged ywz fic that absolutely blew me away!! what an amazing surprise, and I still get giddy every time I see it.

not sure it technically counts as a gift but shadaras wrote a hilarious smc ficlet in response to one of my posts where I yearned for the fic jukebox to provide!

and at the beginning of the year, afin wrote this wonderful huang shaotian & zhang xinjie friendgenda fic that makes me laugh so much!! delightful!

I don’t plan on writing any new longfic at the moment, but chances are an idea will hit me in the face anyway when I least expect it!

Coco is told the truth about her parents’ actual relationship with “tío” Ernesto when she’s old enough to understand, and she is... not super surprised in retrospect, and perfectly okay with it. She’s as close to him as she is to both of her parents. (Ernesto is mostly relieved he no longer has to keep it hidden and unspoken inside the house.)

16 - if I could only write one pairing for the rest of my life what would it be?

That's a deceptively difficult question! At the moment I'd be inclined to say perhaps the Lupin OT4 (thanks hyperfixations). But historically, I might tend to lean towards KakaGai from Naruto or perhaps one of my very old Harry Potter pairings.

17 - Do I write my stories from start to finish?

With oneshots, yes, although with longer fics I don't. I'll jot down scenes and flesh them out weeks or months before I even get to them. The scenes end up being the pins that I try and string together to form the end fic.

37 - Talk about my current WIPs

Hooooooboy!

How to Train your Assassins has been taunting me for weeks at this point. I know where I'm going with it, I just can't quite get there. I hadn't done many scenes for the current arc so I'm kind of grabbing at strings to keep the plotlines together. (To be honest, I don't think I expected to make it as far as I have...)

I have the bare bones of a short-ish Jigen and Fujiko fic planned. It doesn't have a name yet, and it'll probably stay where it is on the backburner until I find a little more inspiration.

I have the first few chapters of a Sherlock/Lupin the Third crossover written (it also doesn't have a name yet), and I probably could post the start of it just to gauge interest, but I get the feeling that it will be more of a pet project than anything else (crossovers rarely get many views after all), so I want to write it to my own standard before posting it.

Hi! Thanks again for the lovely exchange! I wanted to ask if you have plans of making some kind of a masterlist that collects links to all the gifts on one page. It might be helpful for people who aren't active on all the sites where stuff has been posted and so people can make sure they haven't missed anything. If not, I've made one for my own use so I won't lose track of all the cool stuff that's been posted. If you want to use it, I could make it public?

I do indeed have plans on posting a masterlist to this page!! I haven’t gotten around to it yet cus I’m waiting to make sure everyone’s had a chance to post what they created and reveal themselves to their giftees and whatnot. In the meantime I’m reblogging all the ones I can find on here, I know there’s a couple on twitter I need to add to the masterlist as well!
