Van Ghost signs to Indyground Entertainment
Hailing from Columbia, Missouri Van Ghost is determined to dominate the deteriorated scene of Columbia hip hop. Representing the repressed voices of distressed MCs feeling a misrepresentation of what COMO hip hop is and can be. This flag bearing martyr is willing to take the reins to bring the love and passion of the scene back to its once glorious momentum. Opening for artist like Steddy P, My Posse in Effect, and Flobots this artist has quickly catapulted himself right back in the mix. Keep a close eye for releases and videos from Van Ghost in 2018.
IGE welcomes new signee Van Ghost and his debut record “Minor Dialogue” (Columbia, MO)
Van Ghost debut album “Minor Dialogue” is set to release 4/21 via Indyground on all digital platforms.

Big Head Todd and The Monsters
Went to The Filmore with the kids last Friday night to see Big Head Todd and the Monsters. As expected, they were absolutely amazing! Of course, at the Fillmore, being that it's standing room only, we were no more than 2 rows from the stage the entire concert!
The opening act was Van Ghost, out of Chicago. Their style of music greatly complimented the headliner - as I believe it should. Van Ghost have a new EP available on bandcamp (vanghost.bandcamp.com). I'll be honest, while I like the music they have on band camp, I thought the live show was much more impressive.
Two of the songs I enjoyed at the concert can be heard on bandcamp - Domino Effect and Modern Day Love Affair.
Check 'em out!
