I went to Tokyo and saw the Code;Realize musical last Saturday! Tbh it was a very spontaneous decision and I’m really glad I went! I’ve only ever heard a little bit about the game itself (my friend LOVES Fran) and I went in practically blind about the plot/characters so it was a surprise all the way through! I went specifically to see Ken-chan sing!! His speaking voice was low and husky to match his character and his singing rang out so clear and strong!! Seeing him made me so happy~ Ken-chan was called on for curtain call and at first he was caught by surprise and just went “Eh?? ah??” and everyone started cheering and all the other boys on stage urged him to do the ‘bang bang’ thing (the character his plays is a gunman). So he makes finger guns and goes “愛してるよ。”(I love you) and got SUPER EMBARRASSED. The crowd was screaming. The cast then tells him to do it properly. So he straightens himself, takes aim and says it again in the most beautiful deep voice. I was gone.
