Sometimes I think about an AU where the characters in the first film are put through the events of the first game. It's not really explored at all in the series, but I like that Alice and Jill's trauma began with two very similar incidents in Umbrella facilities.

So. That would mean Alice takes Jill's place.

Rain would be Chris Redfield.

Olga would be Rebecca Chambers. Only because they're the team medics.

J.D. would be Joseph Frost. When he gets mauled by the Cerberus dogs, Rain could still be there trying to save him.

Drew and Warner could be anyone, I guess. Maybe Kenneth J. Sullivan and Forest Speyer.

Lisa could easily be working at the Mansion instead of the Hive.

Matt would be Barry Burton. Barry's whole thing with his family being in danger, acting suspicious, and he and Jill ending up alone together works well enough for Matt's "fuck Umbrella" and "I need to find my sister by sneaking in" thing.

Spence would be Albert Wesker because, y'know. He's a massive traitor.

In order to still be in a leadership role, One would have to be Enrico Marini.

I thought about Kaplan being Brad Vickers, but Kap is far braver and I just can't do that to him, so I'd make him Richard Aiken.

That does leave Brad and Edward Dewey out, but Sanitation did have some unknown helicopter pilot for Brad's role and Edward was just a severed hand in 1, so whatever.

I'm not sure if the Red Queen would still be there. If she was, I'd make her just a voice without the hologram.

I doubt I'd ever actually write it, but it's fun to think about
