Lots of fun playing big salmon with this crew today.
Some nice size Chinook Salmon starting to show up near the mouth of the Fraser River.
Rob and his buddy Scottie rode their bikes up from Nebraska to go fishing today. Found a keeper and a few undersized chinook off Bowen.
First Fish today for this young man. The one he landed was slightly smaller. They always grow with time, so we thought this one would fit the bill.
Some great local fishing is happening right now. The fish are spread out all over the Gulf of Georgia. Pick your favourite spot and work it!!!
Prawns & Crab on the menu today. Fun day with these young guys wanting to learn how to catch salmon.
Chinook salmon have a few different names: King, Spring, Tyee & Blackmouth. The latter seems to fit this picture, their black gums are a feature that identifies this species.
