VANDAL FRIDAY! My rendition of Moscow's very own Winger's. Crispy Chicken Wrap with homemade Winger's tangy/spicy sauce. Enjoy! #FightSong #Idaho #GoVandals #VandalFriday #Wingers #Homemade #MusicVideo
Hey Vandals and Future Vandals! I know that I am a little late with my fifth posting in my series of the top five places to visit on the University of Idaho Campus, but I had some computer issues and if you attend Vandal Friday (which I hope you all did) you started your day in my fifth location anyway!!! With that being said, my fifth and final location is the ASUI Kibbie Dome! The Kibbie recently went through some major exterior and interior revamping and is looking pretty spiffy. The Kibbie Dome is home to the University of Idaho Football team, but also house the "Cowan Spectrum" used for men's and women's basketball, and an indoor track used by the men's and women's track team.
The Kibbie is for so much more than athletics. Vandal students are encouraged to use the Kibbie during it's open hours and many students use it for U of I's numerous club and intramural sports. It also houses a number of students and local activities, including the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, Relay for Life, Vandal Friday, and Finals Fest ( a concert for students held before spring semester finals). This year the Kibbie Dome will welcome Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for Finals Fest...pretty awesome if I may say so myself.
I hope you all enjoyed Vandals Friday and got to see some, if not all, of my top five places to visit at University of Idaho!

Hey Vandals and Future Vandals! Tomorrow is the big day! It's the last Vandal Friday of 2013, and I hope you all are getting ready and excited. To continue my top five places to visit, on the U of I campus, here is my day four! Memorial Gym! This is such a beautiful and historical building at the heart of the University of Idaho campus! This gymnasium holds events ranging from classes to volleyball and basketball games. This is also a great place, as a student, to take advantage of. Memorial Gym (most commonly called "Mem Gym") is open to all students during "open gym" hours. Mem Gym is also connected to the Physical Education Building or PEB, and houses the schools Swimming Pool...which is also open and free to U of I students!
Hope to see you all tomorrow :)

This is my favorite time of year because there is so much to going on. Since my Freshman year I have always loved Vandal Friday and it just got better when I joined my chapter and Greek Week was at the same time. Love all the Vandal spirit that happens over the next three weeks!
Happy Vandal Friday!!
Top Picks for Vandal Friday
Hey Vandals! Vandal Friday is just two days away! For those of you future Vandals that are heading to Moscow for the festivities I wanted to highlight some of the best activities and opportunities that you should all be sure to catch while you are here!
1. Campus Tour- While you are on campus definitely take part in a campus tour! This tour allows you to see all of campus and get a feel for what the University of Idaho has to offer. The tour guides are excellent and have a lot of great information and fun facts about the university.
2. Residence Hall Tour/ Greek Tour- It is so important to take the time to research your living options on campus and find the option that works best for you. University Housing has some great tour guides full of information to help you make your decision a little easier and to help show your different residence hall options as a freshman. Greek houses will also have a number of tours if you are interested in going Greek.
3. Student Activities and Information Fair (Friday 9:30-12:30 p.m.)- This is a must see for future Vandals. It gives students the opportunity to check out what the university has to offer. Student clubs and organizations, student success offices, and more will be available for you to ask questions and potential sign up!
4. Information Sessions- There are a number of information sessions taking place through out the day and I advise you to make it to as many as possible. Subjects range from study tips, getting involved, ins and outs of college finances, the first-year experience and more! These sessions are a great way to ask question and get answers about anything that you may be worried or wondering about! A full list of all of the information sessions can be found at www.uidaho.edu under the Vandal Friday schedule.
5. Parent College Showcase- So this is more for your parents than you but I still advice that your parents take part. Parents will be escorted to selected locations to learn more about the academic college you have chosen.
6. VANDAL STORE- While on campus you have to stop by the Vandal store (located on Deakin Avenue) and pick up some Vandal Gear! It is never to early to start you collection and usually the Vandal Store has some amazing deals during Vandal Friday!
Hope to see you all on Friday! I will be tabling at the Activities Fair for Housing, so stop by and say Hi!
GO VANDALS!!!!!
