The Starry Night House

This house located in Mount Dora, Florida, is completely painted in Van Goghs The Starry Night. The couple of this beautiful home wanted the house to serve as a landmark for their autistic son, who loved the painting. They wanted to make it easier for him to find his way home again if he ever got lost.

However, the couple faced many fines by the city as people claimed it would be a distraction to others and the house was ruled out as graffiti. An almost year-long battle ensued where the family was charged thousands of dollars in fines. Eventually, the couple won the battle and The Starry Night house still remains.

La notte,le stelle,i pensieri che volano. Vincent Van Gogh trovava serenità nella notte,i suoi pensieri volavano via insieme alle stelle. Dipinse molte opere rappresentando la notte(una delle più famose '' notte stellata'').

A sua sorella scrisse che la notte gli sembrava più ricca rispetto ai colori del giorno. L'immagine della notte stellata lo perseguitava,come se la notte fosse fondamentale per il suo umore. Dove la notte è blu e le stelle brillano su in cielo. Tutto più sereno.
