late night talks

in the heart kingdom asta would get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and notice on the way back that ezra was up. asta being curious sneakily tried to see what they were up to in such a late hour but ended up getting caught. asta asked why they weren't sleeping and ezra deflected the question but asta being persistent ezra eventually gave in and told him that they had pretty bad insomnia. with that asta decided to stay with ezra till they felt tired enough to go to bed.

ezra thought what asta was doing was foolish but asta insisted to try and help cause sleep is important. they then talked about where they grew up, how their childhoods were like and so on. after some time asta looked over at ezra who suddenly went quiet and realized they had fallen asleep. seeing as they were in a terrible position asta took it upon himself to take them back to their room to sleep in bed.

ezra woke up the next morning surprised that they passing out like that and embarrassed at the thought of asta carrying them to bed. they were a little awkward around asta for a bit and in denial that it actually worked. they would fake being asleep so asta would leave them alone but asta saw right through it this then led them to have a nightly routine together during those 6 months

because i hate the asta haram. i think its gross and its just weirdos projecting their fantasies onto asta.

its such a big mischaracterization of his character. hes shown multiple times that when his heart is set on someone he will only have eyes on that person.

plus just because multiple characters have a crush on asta does not mean he should reciprocate those feelings to all of them.
