The Postman's Cottage.
I rediscovered this cottage during lockdown in June 2020. I was in it many times as a young boy. The owner was a local Postman as was my father and the two were great friends. Alas he had no family and the house has been left to the elements.
The vibrant greens in the image are a mix of sadness and yet hope.
One of my own photos. Old derelict cottage at the Mile Tree near Birr Co Offaly. It is said to date back to the early 1800s . Part of vanishing Ireland I fell.
