Heat from the almost autumn midday sun has made travelling twice as tiring then it normally is, hence why the brunette is now taking a nap beneath shade offered by the viridian leaves of trees overhead. Sleeping beauty, Touko isn't one to wake easily, holding on to the sands of dreams before they slip through her fingers, forgotten. But perhaps, one grain will remain in the palms of her memories, to linger within her mind till it fades to dust and blows away.
I welcome 4 to my world
And queue a discontented sigh leaving the lips of one bored girl. Tapping her fingers against the chain of the swing she was sitting on, she made quick work of scanning the surrounding area. It was boring today, just the play ground of an elementary school. The buildings didn't even look that interesting, just cinder block buildings with fake flower trimming. The flowers weren't even that well painted onto the buildings, but if she pretended they were painted by little kids, then it was okay.
Kiko brushed up against Miranda's leg before jumping onto her lap, making the swing rock a little bit. A giggle was the next noise to leave the girl's lips. "Kiko! There you are! Silly girl, I've been waiting for you. We need to go on an adventure, I'm getting very bored sitting here alone." She said, jumping up she followed her faithful companion into one of the buildings.
It wasn't much prettier inside. It was obvious that an attempt was made; there were cut outs of flowers and trees, animals, crudely drawn people, and other buildings on the walls. But it didn't help the over all dreary look of the place. "Kiko, this place is making me depressed." She huffed, flicking chestnut fringe from her eyes with a twitch of her head. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly as she followed the bushy tail she was oh so familiar with into another room. "I said I wanted to go on an adventure, not into a room." She said, her voice basically fizzling out by the end as chocolate optics landed on another person.
"Woah! Hi there!" the petite female exclaimed, jumping on a chair. "What's your name? Are you here to go on an adventure with me? You look like the adventurin' type! What do you say?"
Coffee Break || @vanis-praestes
It was a nice day in Nimbasa City, he had come to ride the Ferris Wheel but it seemed like that it wasn't operating today. It was such a shame since the man had come all the way to the cities just for such thing. And he didn't know what to do- he could have tried the Battle Subway, yet he was in no mood for battling. He had enough money to sustain himself for the moment and so he didn't want to have any excess fighting. So he decided to roam around the streets until something caught his eye, it was a big city- so if there wasn't anything else that caught his eye- then he knew that Nimbasa City would never be worth his time ever again.
His eyes scanning the shops as he passed them. Nothing was getting his interest. They were all the same, all the social media that the people consumed over and over again. It was all the same routine. N didn't understand how they could live their lives like that as he always had to be on the move if he wanted to feel at ease. He would never understand the life of someone who always stayed in one place as he would never be able to make such a commitment like that. But he shook the thought off his mind and kept searching for something, just something to catch his attention.
Finally, something caught his eye- it wasn't anything flashy, a little cafe that probably served mediocre coffee or tea with some sweets or something. He did have a particular fondness of coffee as he liked it sometimes black and sometimes with sweetener or sugar. Deciding he had nothing better to do he walked over to the small shop as when he went to open the door he saw that another hand had also reached for it. Without another thought he stepped back to look at the person who was standing right next to him. It was a brunette boy- kinda dull looking and boring. But maybe that was just the outside. N was interested as a bright smile came on his face as he spoke to the boy.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see you there. What's your name, boy?"
Fake, this was a fake smile as he knew this act usually worked on people- people that were so gullible to his foolish act. But who knows, maybe he'd actually make a real friend sometime. He wasn't particularly good at making friends, especially with people. The reason was because he could never stay in one place, always leaving them behind to never see them again once he was finished using them. It was a bit of a pity but the greenette didn't mind. Continuing his smile he spoke again.
"Well now, why don't we have a nice chat if we're going to the same place~?"
