I really need to learn how to draw quicker, cause this took like a month. Idk if I'm gonna survive Artfight this year lmao.

So yeah, just wanted to do the "Rendering Saves Lives" trend with my 2022 Vanny design and my 2021 Human Alastor design. The idea of them being friends, or hell even enemies, just makes me happy. And I can make them interact because I'm an artist and these designs are basically my over glorified OCs anyway.

Because of this, you'll have to sit through my non canonical canon divergent AUs get a crossover. Cause I can. Van and Al. Committing atrocities and having fun while doing it.

You know, I never thought about it until I drew this piece and this definitely is a stretch but Vanny and Alastor are a lot more similar than I have them credit for. They both serve a powerful figure who they want to break free from, they both are killers, they both are desperate for a sense of control, both are implied to have an abusive father/father figure, ect. I'm sure if I think more about it, I can find more similarities. Like I was thinking about making a diagram going over all their similarities and differences.

Like the fact that Vanny was basically groomed into being a monster while Alastor always was. Or how Vanny wanted to break free so she can go back to living a normal life, while Alastor wanted to break free so he could seemingly cause more chaos.

I am probably just looking for similarities tho, as they are my comfort characters and I wanna have a reason for them to be fwiends lmao.

Still this was fun! I love both characters and getting to draw my OC-ified versions of them and imagine their interactions. Very fun. I will draw these two interacting again.

I originally wanted to draw another picture with my unmasked Vanny design (Cause in my FNAF SB AU, she and Vanessa are different people) and my human Alastor (with him looking quite annoyed) but I wanted to finish this piece.

Oh well, maybe another time. I definitely will draw these guys together more. They are friends to me. Vanny and Alastor best friends forever! NyanCreeperPony playing with toys forever!
