Vanitas wakes from a mysterious and troubling nightmare, but is soon preoccupied with averting a crisis in the kitchen.

Edit: This was inspired in part by an ask I received a while back (tragically devoured by the hellsite when I tried to answer it), in which anon suggested that all the heartbreak of canon was just a crazy dream Vanitas had, and that he wakes to a normal, contented life to find Noé making pancakes for him. (I was in a sleep-deprived rush to post last night and forgot to include this context. Thanks for the prompt, anon! 🥰)
