OH SAY CAN YOU ZINE | PHIL MORGAN
We’re checking out the finger and pun inspired zine of Wales artist Phil Morgan (whose artwork you might recognize from this year’s Vans US Open of Surfing). His zine Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will is chocked filled with Phil’s characters, pun inspired up jokes, and mash ups. We not only love the creativity and fun behind most, but also the simplicity and humor in which it is delivered.
Find out more about Phil in our Art School Interview with Phil Morgan.
Meanwhile in California...
Dreams really do come true guys! I used to dream of the day I got to go to the Vans US Open of Surfing, and today I got to see my favorite surfer finish up a heat, and troll around with one of my favorite people. I’m in heaven.
Pro Skater [Sky Brown: 8-year-old skater (and surfer), youngest girl to compete in the Vans US Open Pro Series] "I just GO even when I`m scared this is when I feel the most happy..I’m in the Zone and I love it and I wanna do it all day just stay excited and thrilled and a little bit scared hahahaha and it’s soo fun to see the look on all the boys faces."
