Raiden: Brother, what do you have?

Fujin, clearly hiding something in his cloak: Nothing.

Baby Varian: *sneezes*

Raiden: What was that noise from your cloak?

Fujin: I heard nothing, you must be tired.

Raiden: It sounded like an infant sneezing.

Fujin: Must've been the wind.

Raiden: You control the wind! Just show me what you're hiding already!

Fujin: Fine! *reveals a baby Varian* I found her abandoned and left to die. I couldn't just leave her there Raiden! She needs me.

Raiden: *sigh* Brother, please do not get attached to her-

Fujin: Too late, already named her, her name is Varian.

Raiden: FUJIN-

Fujin: Just hold her Brother, she's staying here so you may as well get to know her.

Raiden: Are you sure that I won't...hurt her?

Fujin: I am positive Raiden, now here *hands Varian to him*

Raiden, nervously accepting: Alright...*holding her* Now what?

Fujiin: Try actually looking at her. You're not going to hurt her, I promise.

Raiden: *looks down at her* Um, hello Varian.

Varian: *smiles*

Fujin: See? She likes you already!

Raiden: I suppose so-

Varian: *snuggles into his chest and yawns*

Raiden, now smiling: I suppose that keeping her isn't such a bad idea after all.

Fujin, teasingly: Oh? Are you going to adopt now as well?

Raiden: Oh hush, I'd never do such a thing.

Varian's Chaosrealmer physical trait isn't actually her eyes, it's her spine and shoulders. Everything about them is completely unnatural. They constantly pop and creak while fighting and they're virtually indestructible. Her spine is one of the reasons she's so hard to kill, it's impossible to paralyze her

Varian is one of the most versatile warriors ANY of the realms have seen. There are rumors that she's unkillable. Rumors that if you're her enemy, a gruesome death is certain. She's revered in the Lin Kuei, the Shirai Ryu have considered her as an equal a long while before Hanzo. Fujin and Raiden brag about her skills. Even Shao Kahn himself was impressed with her skills. Long story short: Do. Not. Mess. With. Varian.

Varian is actually an expert assassin. So much so that the Lin Kuei would hire her often. She was even viewed as an honorary member, as she'd been assisting them for centuries. Her only rules were: Only have her kill the scum of the Earth and do not involve her in their rivalry with the Shirai Ryu (as she worked with them as well for just as long)

Varian doesn't hide WHO she is, she hides WHAT she's been through. If you're not her family or a very, very close friend, the only way you would know is if you were there. Being 603 years old, she's been through hell and back. Its extremely difficult for her to open up about everything because there's just SO MUCH to unpack. She doesn't want people who don't understand the severity of it all to give an unwanted opinion, it would just cause more damage

1. Who do they trust most? What would they do if that person betrayed them?: Fujin because that's her dad. And the second part....it already happened when Fujin asked for Shang Tsung's help to fix time, knowing what he did to her. She was crushed, but ultimately stayed quiet. When it was all said and done, she couldn't even bring herself to be angry with Fujin, as she understood why he did what he did. Fujin still feels extreme guilt over it, despite the fact that Varian has already forgiven him

10. Would they go on long road trips? Who and what would they bring?: DEFINITELY! She's adventurous lass, so road trips are right up her alley! She'd bring along her whole family and as many friends as she could. She's practical, so she'd only bring what she needs for the trip

BIRTHDAY CAKE - when is their birthday? do they like celebrating it?: Well, no one knows her actual birthday, so more like "celebrating the day that Fujin found her" day. Because she was still a newborn, so it can't be too far off. It's January 31st, 1419. She celebrates it with her family and friends as a little get together, it's nice for her. But a small piece of her doesn't like being reminded that she's so old lol.
