I think it's always important to remember that Varus is 3 people in one so sometimes his reactions can be a little weird depending on what the 2 guys inside of his head think lol
That being said, if you're a human, Kai would absolutely try to keep Varus the fuck away from you
If you make a flirtatios comment about his slim waist, and Varus opens his mouth to respond, Kai would fight so hard to rather make him shut up, or to say something mean in return to drive you away
It could be a little awkward in the beginning until Varus manages to get them in check, because it would look like he's uncomfortable with your comments
BUT as soon as he manages to make Kai shut the fuck up, oh that man is puffing up like a peacock
He knows his new body is in it's peak in all senses, strength, agility, and of course, beauty, and he was a man before so it's not like he doesn't remember his pride on superficial things such as looking good
Varus will hold back from saying things back to you, but once Kai is in check it will be SO obvious how much he thrieves in your words and is genuinely just playing hard to get
He particularly loves comments about his chest and waist, and they can be from suggestive to downright explicit he won't care (it'll actually get him even happier)
Varus will be there smiling like the cat who got the cream, so pleased with your attention and clear desire for him
